About MICAH

Micah Mayes (pronounced mai-kuh)

is a freelance creative producer based out of Portland, OR. She’s your

boots-on-the-ground visual producer, a specialist in on-location commercial productions, in and out of state. Whether you need someone to oversee an entire production from conception to final asset delivery or help finding the right setting or talent for the brand story, she has and can do it all.

Her background as an account manager, integrated senior project manager, quality control specialist, trained photographer, gallery and imaging lab manager and avid mountaineer makes her a creative collaborator with the efficiency, organization, and resourcefulness that’s essential for a

successful production.

RESUME

Micah is community-driven and environmentally conscious. Her mission is to support local businesses and encourage inclusion. She’s inspired by the delight the outdoors have brought her, and she aims to provide opportunity to capture the joy her diverse subjects feel as they explore picturesque, off-the-beaten path locations.

In her spare time, Micah is likely recreating outside. She’s trained in navigation, mountain first aid, leadership, and accident management. She’s been an instructor and served on the Advanced Rock Committee for the local mountaineering organization, the Mazamas.

She’s proud to have several all-female ascents under her belt including The East Buttress of Mt. Whitney, complete Exum Ridge of the Grand Teton, and Devil’s Kitchen headwall of Mt. Hood.

In the last nine months, she has produced twelve on-location photoshoots in three states, scouted and hired local talent, and engaged eight Portland small businesses for catering and on-site locations --all while adhering to

COVID-19 safety precautions per the CDC and OMPA guidelines to keep everyone comfortable and safe!
